INFRASTRUCTURE SECURITY ENGINEER
Overview
We are looking for a strongly secure skillset person that can fit into a multi scoped team working with the infrastructure and application development teams within Web & eCommerce Application Security, Infrastructure Security, and Cloud Security.
Specific Skills
- Proficiency around infrastructural and network security topics including both On-prem and Cloud domains;
- Solid understanding of modern and updated information security methodologies and standards;
- Good knowledge around security topics related to iOS, Linux and Windows systems;
- Knowledge into security devices and tooling like firewall, SIEM, EDR, and IDS;
- Hands on and expertise on automated or semi-automated security scans both for perimetral than internal environments;
- Proven experience on conducting security assessment evaluation and vulnerability management campaigns;
- Good understanding and knowledge about Identity and Access management principles declined into the security domain;
- Ability to understand and take part to define High-level (HLD) and Low-level design (LLD) architectures, providing general and specific security best practices and secure controls;
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment;
- Availability to travel internationally;
- Fluent English and Italian;
- Knowledge and experience in the following fields will be considered as a plus: Container Security, DevSecOp, Sysadmin.
Responsible For
- Provide security practices and assist with all infrastructure and network design phases;
- Assessment of infrastructure and networks changes to determine the appropriate security requirements;
- Arranging security assessment (like vulnerability assessment) and other security tests as may be required;
- Triage and prioritization of vulnerabilities revealed during automated and manual infrastructure and networks testing;
- Coaching and assisting other tech teams to overcome vulnerabilities as may be required;
- Assisting in building a ‘security by design’ culture through tech teams;
- Serve as a point of reference for the team, with the ability to enhance group skills and mentor junior resources where needed.
